Circle Of Life: Cemetery Revitalization
In the past, cemeteries served as important community spaces where people could reflect and connect emotionally. As urban areas expanded, however, various factors encouraged the relocation of cemeteries to the outskirts of cities. This shift led to a certain level of disregard and a diminished appreciation for the cultural and emotional significance of burial grounds. With cemeteries now situated in suburban areas, many people have turned to alternative practices such as cremation, which has been shown to harm the environment by contributing to CO₂ emissions. To address both environmental and social concerns, it is essential to reintegrate cemeteries into urban settings. Doing so can restore their cultural value while reducing ecological impact. To make this possible, cutting-edge technology and innovative, eco-friendly solutions must be incorporated to accommodate growing urban populations in sustainable ways.
